Update - Week of January 4, 2016

Upon completion of the property owner's geotechnical drilling on December 30, 2015, National Grid's contractor, who was conducting the Community Air Monitoring Program (CAMP), demobilized from the site. There were no CAMP exceedences during the work.

National Grid's contractor will be mobilizing to the property the week of January 11, 2016. National Grid's contractor will conduct hydrogeologic testing as described in the NYSDEC-approved Supplemental Remedial Investigation - Hydrogeologic Field Activities description. The testing involves pumping groundwater from existing site monitoring wells into drums, which will then be disposed of off-site at a licensed disposal facility.

National Grid is continuing to work with the NYSDEC regarding evaluation of the other Supplemental Remedial Investigation results (completed October 2015), and possible future activities at the site.
