The site work conducted in and adjacent to Trump Village Shopping Center was completed on Tuesday, October 20, and National Grid's contractors demobilized on Wednesday, October 21. The work was done to further evaluate the distribution (if any) of coal tar under the ground. The work was completed as described in the NYSDEC-approved Work Plan (see Key Documents).

It will take several months for the results to be analyzed and prepared for review by the NYSDEC. National Grid and the NYSDEC will keep the public informed of the testing results when they are available. When finalized, the documentation report for this work will be posted to this website.
