Update Mid - January 2012 

The vertical aquifer profile sampling (temporary wells) phase of work will be conducted during the week of 1/9/12 to determine the nature and distribution of the dissolved-phase groundwater impacts.  Groundwater samples will be collected from the temporary wells and submitted to a laboratory for chemical analyses.

 

The non-aqueous phase liquid (NAPL) delineation phase of work is ongoing to determine the extent of the NAPL impacts.  Activities for the week of 1/16/12 include soil boring drilling on the shopping center property and the Trump Village property.  Soil samples are being collected from the soil borings and submitted to a laboratory for chemical analyses.  The soil borings are being drilled using sonic drilling techniques.
